The Bible has some "red lights," and "green lights," that should control the lives of every Christian.
Just as the traffic lights are there for our protection, the Word of God has warning signals for our protection and prosperity as a child of God. The "red lights" of God's Word warns us about envy, pride, hatred, lust and selfishness etc. When the Holy Spirit warns us of their presence, we should immediately hit the brakes and make the necessary changes.
Likewise, as we move into the heavy traffic of daily living, we must quickly respond by obeying the "green lights" of God's Word concerning kindness, humility, worship, soul winning and service, etc. God's stops and starts are designed to help us to grow and be productive in this world.
Remember Always, "God does all things well!"
